The seminar entitled ‘Right-to-repair and Consumer Sales Law for a Sustainable Economy’ aims to illustrate the impact of the EU Directive 2024/1799 on common rules promoting the repair of goods on consumer law. Prof. Marco Loos will give a lecture on the right to repair in consumer sales contracts, which will be followed by three more pointed presentations on the aspects of information about the durability of goods, the impact of the directive on the existing Consumer Code and the refurbished good.
