Short bio

Current student representative of the Phd Program Food Engineering and Biotechnology. Palestinian and Canadian citizen. Obtains a MSc. degree in Food Safety and Quality Engineering from the University of Debrecen, Hungary. Also a Master of Science - MS focused in Food Quality and Chemistry of Natural Products from the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Chania, in Greece. Moreover, a BSc. degree In Nutrition and Food Processing from Hebron University, Palestine. 

Main Research Areas

Antioxidant activity of cereals; polyphenol characterization; electrochemical detectors.
