Since the beginning of the academic year, the Centre of Competence for School Inclusion has welcomed 4 delegations from 6 different countries and 3 different continents, with a total of 75 people involved.   

On 29th September 2023, a group of student teachers from the University of Kassel (Germany) came to visit, on 6th March 2024 a delegation of school headmasters from Georgia and Armenia adhering to the Caritas International project, on 10th May 2024 representatives from the Ministries of Education of Colombia and Uruguay, and on 15th May 2024 a large group of education managers adhering to the Go! training institute in Brussels.    

The groups attended welcoming meetings organized by the Competence Centre for School Inclusion in Brixen/ Bressanone.    

For every visiting group, the members of the Competence Centre offered personalized presentations to discuss their topics of interest, i.e. the historical evolution of inclusive education in Italy, the state of the art of related research, the qualification of teachers, the multilingual school system in the Province of Bozen-Bolzano. Based on this, an international dialogue about possible improvements on inclusive education is a fixed component of the meetings.    

We are proud and happy that more meetings with visiting groups have already been scheduled for the next academic year and look forward to further lively dialogues.
