Synergy. the strength of connections

Synergy is an open-source social furniture system narrated through visual storytelling booklets, carrying as main aim the connection of people towards a collective creativity.

text

Synergy has first concerned a democratic and participative methodology around designing the interior and exterior furniture of La Foresta spaces; secondly, emphasising the translation of their fundamental values into the furniture and visual storytelling, intending to narrate both La Foresta and our project to the public. We agreed on creating a double-side booklet, graphicly illustrating the two stories which merge at its central pages.

The initial concept of our social furniture, underlining the importance of collectiveness and creativity generated when the furnishings are built, has evolved until becoming an open-source system based on a limited number of plywood boards and climbing ropes. These parts can be easily assembled into a single module through sliding joints; and therefore, the obtainable results attaching more modules include shelves, tables, hangers and so on.

Moreover, these modular parts are designed to be manufactured either with CNC machines or D.I.Y. by the users themselves by downloading CAD files from Synergy website.
