Short bio
Elisa Cisotto graduated from the University of Turin with a Bachelor's degree in European Studies (2010), obtained a Master's degree in Demography from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2012), and completed a Ph.D. in Demography at Sapienza University of Rome, Department of Statistical Sciences (2016). In 2018, she joined the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano as a junior assistant professor in Social Statistics. Actively engaged in international collaborations, such as Grandparenting in Europe, and coordinating as a member of the Laboratory on Longevity and Ageing (LoLA), she focuses on the demographic, social, and economic consequences of population ageing.
